Student Showcase - What Have Our Students at Bucks Done?

One of the most important things to look at when choosing an animation course is to check out what other students on the course have already done. If they have done excellent work, the chances are that you will too. Why? Because few students produce great work by themselves.  Most of us require motivation, inspiration, and the discipline of a well structured curriculum to guide us through, and help us do the best work we are capable of.  We're proud of the work our students have done at Bucks. Check out some of their excellent work below.

There is a huge range of work being done at Bucks, in many different styles. Our animators do everything from 2D animation to 3D work to stop motion.

Students are pushed by their tutors to succeed, and are inspired by the excellent work done by their peers to do better themselves. This is a virtuous circle in which standards get raised all the time. All the images posted here are by our students and recent graduates.

We encourage our students to do the very best work they are capable of and to to develop a style all of their own. This is especially true in the final year when students create short films and tell their own stories, using media of their choice.

Below is our 2013 Student Demo Reel, showcasing a wide range of different styles. Every year has its own unique character and flavour.

Below is our 2014 Student Demo Reel, which had an emphasis on 2D work and also on stop-motion. Different year groups have their own unique style.

Here at Bucks our Gateway building is still brand new, and boasts a huge array of state-of-the-art equipment. We are proud of the facilities we have at Bucks, and by the very broad range of creative disciplines going on here. To see more, take a virtual tour, or better yet visit us on one of our open days.
